An electrical contact is an electrical circuit component found in electrical switches, relays and breakers. It is composed of two pieces of electrically conductive metal that pass electrical current or insulate when the gap between them is closed or open. The gap must be an insulating medium of air, vacuum, oil, SF6 or other electrically insulating fluid. Main Materials: Face material : Ag,AgNi,AgCdO,AgSnO2,AgZnO Base material : Cu,CuNI Main Applications: Mainly used in various switches, relays, thermostats, circuit breakers, leakage protectors and other low & middle voltages.
AC contactor AC contactors, also known as electromagnetic switches, have been widely employed in the application of power control. Contact materials (1)For a less than 32 amp circuit load, Rivets are often made from AgCdO (12) and AgNi (10)
(2)For an over 32 amp (32 amp included) circuit load, contact tips are made from AgCdO(15) or environment-friendly AgSnO2 and AgSnO2In2O3 for RoHS in sheets. In some cases, AgCdO(12) sheet is used.
