Thermostat bimetal strip Our Bimetallic Strip is used to convert a temperature change into mechanical displacement. The strip consists of two strips of different metals which expand at different rates as they are heated, usually silver and copper, or in some cases silver and brass. The strips are joined together throughout their length by cladding, brazing or welding.
Main Materials: Face material : Ag,AgNi,AgCdO,AgSnO2
Base material: Cu,brass,Fe, SUS,BeCu,Phosphor copper Product Types: One-layer inlay, Bi-layer inlay, Tri-layer inlay, Onlay, Overlay
Main Application: Clad metal strip is mainly used for all sorts of electrical component production, such as, micro motors, electrical brush, commutator, jiggle plug/socket, relay, connector, tuner, etc. It is also suitable for continuous automatically manufacture. 
Characteristic: 1. It is a new technical material, based on different industry needs, formed by advanced indoor temperature composite technology or hot composite technique. It is rolled with different alloy material and base material strip. After well composited, its electrical character and wearability are much better than single precious metal (such as gold and silver). 2.
